Our specialty is buying district heating and cooling systems and upgrading them. As we improve efficiency and customer service of an acquired system, we typically attract a greater number of customers, enabling us to increase revenue and generate solid returns.
Many district heating and cooling systems across the United States are operated by large companies who do not see district energy as their core business. It is our core business and our only business.
Thermal Ventures II was established in 2000 for the purpose
of acquiring and operating district heating and cooling systems. Thermal
Ventures II is a collaboration with our partner Yorktown Capital Partners
of New York. Since our establishment, we have acquired and now operate
systems in Detroit,
Michigan; Martinsville, Virginia; and Youngstown, Ohio. We also have cooling assets in Akron,
Ohio. We are headquartered in Youngstown,
Ohio.
