jeffrey p. bees
president and ceo
Mr. Bees was elected to this position in February 2002 and had been chief operating officer since Thermal Ventures II's establishment in 2000. Previously, he had served in several management positions at Thermal Ventures and its predecessor companies, dating back to 1985, most recently as chief operating officer. Prior to that, Mr. Bees worked for eight years at Catalyst Thermal Energy, the nation's largest district energy company at the time, serving in several capacities including general manager of Youngstown Thermal. Other experience includes positions with Ernst & Young in public accounting. Mr. Bees holds a bachelor of science degree from Youngstown State University and has been a member of the International District Energy Association (IDEA) since 1985.

Mr. Butta joined Thermal Ventures during late 2000, coming from the gas marketing business. Mr. Butta has more than 23 years experience in contract development and management in the energy industry. He is a graduate Mechanical Engineer who earned his undergraduate degree from Point Park College and advanced degrees from West Virginia University.

Mr. Christy is a recent addition to the Thermal Ventures operations and development staff. He comes from the power generation and energy services industry with experience from assignments with APP/Armstrong Services, DQE Energy Services group Mid-atlantic energy, Battelle and the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission during his twenty-eight year career. Mr. Christy holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from Grove City College. Mr. Christy has presented numerous technical papers in state proceedings national energy conferences on subjects related to cogeneration and energy outsourcing.
therese a. kechler
chief financial officer
Ms. Kechler joined Thermal Ventures in 1997 as corporate controller and has served as CFO since 2000. Prior to Thermal Ventures, she was employed by Packer Thomas & Co., a certified public accounting firm and was on the Thermal audit team. Ms. Kechler was awarded her CPA in 1992. She earned a bachelor of science degree in accounting in 1990 from Youngstown State University and is a member of the Ohio Society of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Ms. Woods oversees all administrative functions for Thermal Ventures II. She has been with the company and its predecessors for 11 years. She holds a bachelors degree in music from Baylor University.
